A new book is in town...(os)

... and it is called "Poor Economics". Unfortunately the authors Esther Duflo and Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee, both MIT, do not find a superior way to overcome world poverty and hunger. Never the less, they have used methods of microeconomics and social sciences and so on to evaluate habits of people living in poverty. In this manner, it differs from previous books and advices, favoring manly "liberal market solutions". This description shows promise.
