Prosperity is just around the corner (os)
Yesterday night I watched a great documentation on Arte. It's about the great depression with comments by economists and historian such as by Joseph Stiglitz, Howard Zinn, Jeff Madrick, Steve Fraser or Daniel Cohen. It is not only economic (as far as this is possible on that issue) but also about the life and culture in the late twenties and is not only focused on the US. For example it also captures the spill over of the crisis to Europe, especially Germany and the political consequences. In any case worth watching. You find it on the arte homepage. This is the direct link.
